SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Twitter might not keep its headquarters in San Francisco forever, its owner Elon Musk signaled Tuesday.Speaking virtually at the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit in London, Musk gave a noncommittal answer to an interviewer’s question about whether the company will stay in the California city.San Francisco officials announced last week they are investigating Twitter after six former employees alleged that Musk’s team broke laws by turning the company’s headquarters into a “Twitter Hotel.” The idea was to create sleeping quarters for workers who were pushed to stay up late working on the social media platform after Musk fired or laid off nearly 80% of Twitter’s employee base. The day after Brooks Koepka won, the Spaniard made it to the next major through U.S. Open qualifying in Dallas. That was the third of 13 final qualifiers for the U.S. Open, to be held June 15-18 at Los Angeles Country Club. Already in the books are England last week and Japan on Monday, where Ryo Ishikawa was among three to advance. The other 10 are on June 5 — the Monday after the Memorial. Along with one more look at the top 60 from the world ranking, that will complete the 156-man field. But there are fewer qualifying spots than typically available. The USGA prides itself on being the most “open” of the majors. For three years prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, there were 78 players who had to go through 36-hole qualifying — half of the field. The pandemic required some changes because of travel restrictions. But now that golf is back to normal, qualifyi...

Blip On The Radar

Published Sat, 22 Feb 2025 08:30:58 GMT

That phrase is in play this week as we are in the middle of another dry stretch of weather. The proverbial blip is in the form of a cold front that will produce clouds and a few showers on Wednesday evening. The cities and towns (IE lawns & gardens) that do see evening showers, the amount is nothing like this past weekend, rather, around 0.20″ or less. Afterwards, the dry pattern resumes for the remainder of the week and likely into the upcoming Holiday Weekend. Here is the setup..and that setup leads to a 7...
